About Rinoure

I can still remember being twelve years old, sitting quietly in the salon chair, mesmerized by what I saw around me. Women would walk in with hair that looked tired, stressed, and lifeless — and you could almost feel the weight of it on their spirits. But then, something magical would happen. A skilled stylist would begin to work, strand by strand, until the reflection in the mirror told a different story. The woman’s shoulders relaxed. Her smile returned. Her confidence came alive again. That moment never left me. I knew I wanted to create that same transformation — to help people not only look renewed, but feel restored.

My journey didn’t begin in beauty school; it began with purpose. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication and Rhetorical Studies, thinking my career would take a different path. Yet, even as I studied, I found myself doing hair on the side — drawn back to the craft that had always spoken to me. My clients saw something in me that I hadn’t yet seen in myself. They encouraged me to take it seriously, to stop treating it as a side skill and start treating it as a calling. So I did. With their support, I went back to school, earned my cosmetology license, and opened Divalicious Salon in Idaho.

What began as a small, single-stylist studio grew into a luxury experience that drew clients from neighboring states. Women traveled for the results — healthier hair, restored confidence, and guidance they couldn’t find elsewhere.

When I later relocated to Maryland, my reputation followed. I became known for helping women recover from years of protective styling, repairing scalp damage, and rebuilding natural hair from the inside out. I didn’t just style hair — I educated. I taught clients how to understand what their hair was asking for, how to spot product overload, and how to listen to the signs of imbalance before it turned into breakage or thinning. People came for results. They stayed for education. And they left with confidence. Over time, my chair became more than a service — it became a classroom for healing.

Now, after almost 15 years of salon excellence, I’m transitioning from service to education. In early February, I’ll be officially retiring from Divalicious Salon to devote my full focus to Rinoure — a space that carries forward the same principles that built my reputation: science, structure, and care.

Rinoure is my way of giving back the knowledge that changed my life — and thousands of others. Because hair and skin care aren’t just about appearance. They’re about understanding yourself deeply enough to restore your balance, inside and out.
